FOUND hotels is making travel an adventure again. The company has made a name for itself within digital nomad circles and modern-day explorers, people who crave adventure and hyper-localized experiences. In 2019, the company decided to reinvent their digital experience after realizing that most of their travelers booked stays through third-party sites. 


After an exhaustive search for a digital partner, FOUND chose Darkroom to design a digital experience that could meet the needs of modern travelers and communicate FOUND’s adventure-first value proposition.  Darkroom designed an entirely younger, quirky digital identity that spoke to FOUND’s nomadic customer base. Mapping this identity onto a new web platform equipped with a fast, frictionless booking experience, the company now communicates a tech-forward appearance optimized for mobile browsing.

FOUND Hotels deployed Darkroom’s new look and feel across other communication channels, from hotel room cards to restaurant menus. Through our internal content lab, Darkroom Studios, we created video and image content for the web, socials, and growth marketing campaigns.
